We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jack Franklin as team captain of our Men's 1st XI squad. We also thank outgoing captain Joe Philips for six years of service and taking the team to the highest level of hockey the team has seen in recent club history.

Jack has been playing hockey since the age of 6, and he is the third generation of a hockey family who have played at county and national league level. Jack joined Cambridge Nomads when he was 13 years old and has been with us for 20 years, with a break to go to and play for University of Exeter and Rome's Tevere EUR HC.
