Cambridge Nomads hosted the first festival of the season at Wilberforce Road on Sunday 6th October. A total of 28 matches were played including girls and boys fixtures. Visiting teams included Cambridge City, Cambridge South, Saffron Walden, Newmarket, Ely, and St. Neots.

We also took this opportunity to offer young umpires a chance to receive umpiring coaching from county umpire liaison. We had 8 young umpires (under 16s) from various clubs umpiring all matches. Four of our own U16s took part after having completed a level 1 course.

All teams had a good time and plenty of pitch time. We are looking forwards to the rest of the season.
